Rolling, Rolling on the Mississippi

Was just walking out of the shop door yesterday when I noticed her coming around the bend. What a site to see. She was all decked out:. red, white, blue bunting, music playing, people waving and smoke coming out of her giant stacks. I see her often, but doesn't keep me from getting excited. Oh how I wish I could ride her and take a trip from St. Louis to New Orleans. I don't wish for much, but, this is a long time dream. Do you think it will ever come true??? Enjoy the pictures. Come sometime to my part of the world, Clarksville,Mo. About 50 miles from everywhere. America's home town. Come shop, eat, tour and enjoy. Richard and Sissy Dog

Hi, Richard! Sorry I haven't been around in a while, but life got kinda hectic (and Google messed up my nice computer life when it changed its format). Your photos are fabulous! I agree with your first commenter, you must make your dream come true!

Wow Richard, that is a big paddle wheeler...I have never seen it downtown? That would be a grand trip. My friends and I have been thinking it is time to take a visit up your way for some shopping!

Life is short. Go with your dream. You won't regret it but you will if you don't do it. Glad you visited. I love to tell about life when I was a kid. It seems like yesterday and wish our kids could live likewe did . So sweet and innocent. No fear no drugs just plain fun living the simple
life.

What beautiful pictures. I saw it not long ago in Vicksburg. I think sunset on the river would be a beautiful time to be on a boat.
