I have this antique and gift shop along with My Old Historic House, AKA. The 1845 Historic Elgin/Cottrell House Museum in Clarksville,Mo. When I started my blog, I had intended to do post about the old historic house, but somewhere along the way, I started to add some things for sale from the gift shop. In reading some of your comments, people have asked to see more pictures of the shop. So in the next  post I will give you a quick tour of my antique and  gift shop that I call."Richard's Great Stuff. It is in a little town of 490 people on the banks of the Mississippi River, about 70 miles from St. Louis. Before I moved to Clarksville full time,  two years ago, I had a 10,000 sq. foot real antique shop in St.Louis. It was called  The Antique Center of St.Louis. I have enclosed one picture of that old shop for you to view as well. I have changed my mercandise since I moved to the country. I used to sell 18th and 19th century Freanch and Italian antiques only. I also  sold chandeliers and at one time I had over 500 in stock. Those pictures will have to come in another post. Now I sell small pick up items, a lot under $50.00 ,as most of my customers are tourist, and they just want to buy some small item and put in there car. It has been quite a life style change in many ways. I hope you enjoy the shop.
I have listed several items for sale. If you are interested in any of them, just email me at cottrellprissy@aol.com, leave a comment on the blog, or call me at 573 242 9688. You can call me with a charge card number and I will send the item right out, but, if you prefer you can mail me a check. Make the checks to: Richard's Great Stuff and send to: PO Box 443, Clarksville,Mo. 63336.
